User Guide : Vtiger Global Search

Introduction
Vtiger CRM Global Search can access information quickly and accurately across all fields in Vtiger CRM, whether it is standard or custom. It unlocks full-field search, making it easy for teams to access any piece of information stored in Vtiger, even if it’s within a custom field.
You can set up Vtiger global search through these simple steps:
1. To get started, Go to Settings.
2. Then Other Settings and select JB Global Search.

3. Click Add New to set up the configuration setting.
From here, Choose the module you want and Select the fields you want to include in your search results.
4. Here, we selected three modules, Leads, Contacts, and Organizations, and chose City and Email as the fields. Finally, click Save. Your Vtiger CRM Global Search configuration is now successfully completed.
5. Now, let’s see it in action. Simply type the email in the search bar and instantly, you’ll see all related results from the Modules based on the fields you configured earlier.
6. Now, let’s try searching for a city. The results show a clear list of data based on the fields you configured before.
